Semi-private fencing

Privacy With Airflow

A semi-private vinyl fence spaces its boards a little apart instead of locking them tight. You still get a clear property line and most of the screening of a full privacy fence, but air keeps moving through the yard. That matters in a Tampa summer, and it helps gardens and lawns along the fence get more light.

Semi-private styles work well in front and side yards, along a pool deck where you want a breeze, or anywhere a solid wall would feel too heavy. Like every vinyl fence we install, it never needs paint or stain and cleans up with a hose.

Popular in: St. Leo, Bloomingdale, Riverview. We build this style across Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

FAQ

Semi-Private Vinyl Fence FAQs

A privacy fence uses solid, interlocking boards with no gaps. A semi-private fence leaves small gaps between boards, so it screens most of the view but lets light and air through.

Air passes through the gaps, so the fence catches less wind than a solid panel of the same size. Good post installation still matters most.

A little. Small gaps let dogs see movement on the other side. If your dog barks at everything that passes, a solid privacy fence may be the better choice.
