A vinyl privacy fence uses solid tongue-and-groove boards locked between the rails, so there are no gaps for neighbors, street traffic or a curious dog to see through. Six feet is a popular backyard height, with shorter runs along side yards or wherever an HOA sets a limit.
Because the boards are PVC, there is nothing to rot, warp or splinter in Florida humidity, and you never have to paint or stain. A rinse with the garden hose takes care of pollen and dirt.
